Sensing Change - Suffolk County Council

In October 2011 Suffolk County Council established a new Social Enterprise Scheme known as ‘Sensing Change’. This particular scheme aims to support people aged 18 or over with sight and hearing loss who want to live independently but need a little help and advice.

We are happy to announce Tina Winwood will be visiting the centre on Wednesday 23rd May 2012 at 1pm-4pm to talk about his new venture and how you can possibly benefit from this scheme as a deaf or hard of hearing person. The Sensing Change Scheme includes services such as: home visits, social work and rehabilitation.

This will be a great opportunity to find out more about a new service which has the best interests of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and people with sight loss, at heart. Also, as they are a new scheme your input could help shape the  scheme as they will be finding out from YOU, first hand exactly what you want and need. This could help them provide an even more comprehensive service in the future.
